This project consists of carrying out stream restoration works following the previous replacement of a culvert. The work will consists of: -Diverting the stream flow through a temporary water diversion trench to work in the dry in the main channel -Restoring the watercourse downstream of the culvert by removing debris and reshaping the thalweg to follow stream meandering -Placing R50 mixed random riprap and geotextile to restore the watercourse -Placing R50 mixed random riprap, 600mm thick with geotextile around inlet and outlet aprons -Placing R100 riprap at the outlet of the overflow culvert for erosion protection -Placing salvaged streambed material (200mm thick) on top of the riprap. Bid Bond: $30,000.00 Certified Cheque: $55,000.00 Bank Draft: $55,000.00 Money Order: $55,000.00 Irrevocable Letter of Credit: $55,000.00 Documents are available at https://nbon-rpanb.gnb.ca The scope of work at this site includes; o Supply, inspection, and maintenance of the construction traffic control signage and traffic control devices for the Work Site; o All temporary water control works and erosion control during construction as shown on the Plans; o Supply and placement of geotextile (Type N-2), R50 and R100 mixed random riprap material, and streambed material to the limits indicated on the Plans; o Fish rescue to be completed prior to in water works; o Regrading of floodplain within Right of Way; o Removal of pavement debris, gravel, and damaged fallen trees to the limits indicated on the Plans; and o Mulching, topsoiling, and hydroseeding of all exposed soils.
