Robeson Township municipal government has a police department, a public works and facilities department, and a parks system. Security cameras and access services are needed for these areas. The upgrade or design and build solution will provide for interior/exterior monitoring camera coverage 24 hours a day at the Admin Office and Police Building, as well as access services at those locations, and camera systems at the larger municipal park facilities which contain a pavilion with bathrooms, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, basketball courts, a playground, and a storage building. Each park location that has electric infrastructure will be a part of the design and build solution. Our belief is that the ideal solution will include cloud-based remote data storage that can be accessed by Robeson Township municipal government personnel. Robeson Township (the "Township"), Berks County, Pennsylvania, is a PA SecondClass Township which operates under a Board of Supervisors form of government. The Township was founded in 1729 and has an approximate population of 7,538, based upon a 2020 census report, living within an area of 36.3 square miles. Proposals should include an evaluation of the Township's current system, design details, equipment details, and installation details. Project costs are subject to Robeson Township Ordinances depending on projects. Additionally, the PA Prevailing Wage requirements must be followed for this work. This is a request for professional services. Robeson Township will award the proposal to the most responsible professional services vendor who complies with the Township's requirements pursuant to Section 3102(h)(4) of the Second-Class Township Code. Robeson Township reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any defects or irregularities in the proposal process and accept the proposal that, in its sole judgment, is in the best interest of the Township.
