Demolition, remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.

In general, the work consists of: Remove all chimneys to roof deck, infill areas where chimney has been removed to match existing roof. Remove existing roof to decking on Bldg 204, 210, 211, 213, 218, and 219. Replace decking, install 2 rows of ice dam preventer both sides, and install new standing seam metal roofing system on Bldgs 204, 210, 213, 218, and 219. Building 211 shall receive a new EPDM roof surface. Provide new flashing, pipe boots, counter-flashing, and other roof accessories as required to achieve manufacturer's 20-year No-Dollar-Limit warranty. Existing gutters and downspout to be salvaged and re-installed. Access to Camp Douglas is through the main gate along Wisconsin Ave. All work will be located in six (6) building along Madison Blvd. Site access may be limited due to security measures. Background Checks and Access Request Forms may need to be completed. See plans sheet G100 and C201 for building locations. A formal pre-bid tour will not be conducted for this project; however, a site visit by each bidder is highly recommended prior to submitting the bid for this work. KPH will attempt to arrange visits in groups of 2 or 3, if possible, so please get your requests in as soon as possible. *CONTRACTOR ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Only approved Contractor employees will be permitted to enter the Facility. Approval will be established by a vetting process which requires submission for a criminal background check at least 5 business days prior to commencement of work at Camp Williams. If the Contractor's employees have been convicted of a felony, they may be denied access to the facility. The Contractor must submit the name, date of birth and valid driver's license number of all personnel that will be working on site, or entering the site periodically. The Facility will inform Contractors if additional information will be required.
