Oklahoma State University Medical Center, hereinafter referred to as Owner and Flintco, LLC, hereinafter called the Construction Manager, will receive SEALED bids to provide the work included in the Oklahoma State University Medical Center C-Section Suite Project. The following bid packages are part of this phase of bidding: - Demolition - Structural Steel A Bid Security, as stipulated in the bid documents, in the amount of 5% of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder if the amount of the bid exceeds $50,000. Sections, the terms "Construction Manager" and "Contractor" are synonymous. 1.02 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of this Contract comprises of the general construction of the C-Section Renovation at OSU Medical Center, 744 West 9th Street, Tulsa, OK 74127. B. Contracts: Project will be constructed under coordinated, concurrent multiple contracts. C. Work Sequence: Construct the Work to provide for Owner's use of the premises and public convenience and access. Do not close off use of facilities until completion of one stage of construction will provide alternative usage as needed. 1.03 WORK UNDER SEPARATE CONTRACTS A. General: Cooperate fully with separate contractors so work on those contracts may be carried out smoothly, without interfering with or delaying work under this Contract or other contracts. Coordinate the Work of this Contract with work performed under separate contracts. B. Requirements of Separate Contracts: Unless the Agreement contains a more specific description of the work, requirements indicated on Drawings and in Specification Sections determine which contract includes a specific element of Project. 1. Unless otherwise indicated, the work described in the Construction Manager's Bid Packages for each contract shall be complete systems and assemblies, including products, components, accessories, and installation required by the Contract Documents. 2. Trenches and other excavation for the work of each contract shall be the work of each contract for its own work
