Site work and renovation of a civil project in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
High Strength Waste Facility Improvements at South Shore Water Reclamation Facility o Install a new reinforced concrete equipment pad for the new pump. o Furnish and install a new 400 gpm rotary lobe pump and motor on the new equipment pad. o Connect pump to existing CPVC piping, including shutoff valves on the suction and discharge side of the pump. o Connect, balance, and align new pump to the drive system. o Provide new High Strength Waste Pump LCP. o Provide new power circuit from the first-floor electrical room. o Provide new Pump LCP input/output signals. o Provide a new power source to two existing flow indicating transmitters. o Install new shutoff valve on existing grinder bypass piping. o Complete 7-day test run on the new pump, valves, and piping. Description: The project contemplated consists of installing a new rotary lobe type pump and associated valves, piping, and electrical equipment to the High Strength Waste Facility located in the basement of the Sludge Dewatering Building Phase 1 (Building 359) of the South Shore Water Reclamation Facility (SSWRF).
