Renovation of a municipal facility in Frostproof, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
City of Frostproof has secured a Historical Grant to complete repairs - including reroof and interior repairs. Due to the grant, an Architect is required to oversee the job. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. adA site inspection will follow the meeting. Barrel Concrete Tile Roof o Remove existing roof system to modified dry in. o Repair all rotten or otherwise structural damaged sheathing and lumber. Include an allowance of $2,500.00 for repairs. o Install new Peel and Stick underlayment over existing modified dry in. o Supply and install barrel concrete tile (Manufactured in the Florida market) o All related trim o Permit (call City Clerk for permit costs) o 10-year Workmanship warranty o Standard warranty supplied by Manufacture. (5) Flat roof areas behind and within towers o Remove existing roof system to the sheathing. o Repair all rotten or otherwise structural damaged sheathing and lumber. Include an allowance of $1,000.00 for repairs. o Mechanically attach new roof insulation ISO (Polyisocyanurate) to match existing ISO thickness o Horizontal and vertical surfaces to be covered with 60 mil TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin). o All curbs and penetrations to be covered with TPO and flashed as needed. o Replace any damaged copper coping with new - replaced copper remains property of City o Re-use all copper sheet metal that has not been damaged o All disposal fees o Permit o 15 Year NDL (No Dollar Limit) warranty as specified o Auditorium roof is NOT included in this work Interior work o Repair drywall ceilings in both towers. o Repaint ceilings and wall areas damaged o Repair drywall texture on walls in office area where water ran down wall and repaint areas only.
