Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Lee Center, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project replaces two culverts along Streun Road in the Town of Lee. Site 1 is next to Sulphur Springs road and it replaced a corrugated arch pipe with a precast concrete culvert. Site 2 is 3500 ft west of site 1 along Streun Road and it replaces 3 corrugated metal pipes with one precast concrete box culvert. Both sites include pavement reconstruction and upgrading the guiderail. A bid guarantee in the form of cash, certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposal will be required of all bidders. All questions must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for opening of the bids. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to re-advertise for bids at its discretion.
