The selected firm will be required to implement a well-coordinated programming and design process resulting in full design documents for the UNT Athletic Center Expansion and Renovation - Phase 1. The firm will have the proven ability to implement a user process to support the design, future bidding, and construction administration. Currently, the funding allows for only for the full design. At the Owners discretion, the selected firm may be utilized for future Phases for renovation and expansion of the Athletics Center. Projected design completion by August 2025. The Owner reserves the right to: (a) enter into agreements or other contractual arrangements for all or any portion of the Scope of Work set forth in this Proposal with one or more respondents; (b) reject any and all responses and re-solicit responses; or (c) reject any and all responses and temporarily or permanently abandon this procurement, if deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner. The UNT Athletic Center Expansion and Renovation Phase 1 is a focused capital improvement effort designed to expand and modernize strength and conditioning spaces, upgrade administrative offices, and enhance the facility s overall functionality. The scope of work includes new construction for expanded training areas, interior renovations for administrative efficiency, and infrastructure upgrades to support long-term operational sustainability. This project is the first phase of a multi-phase modernization plan and has been structured to minimize operational disruptions while addressing the most immediate needs of UNT Athletics.
