There are two options available for this alternate; Option 1 is to replace the existing boilers with gas boilers, Option 2 is to replace the existing boilers with condensing boilers. Contractor responsible for making final utility connections, testing, inspections and start-up for all new equipment. The scope consists of selective demolition and involves, but is not limited to, the following site utilities, minor landscaping, site trench work, joint sealant, flashing/sheet metal, plumbing and electrical systems, among others. The new equipment to closely matches the existing boiler sizes, weight and capacity. Refer to scope of work and attachments for additional information, more detailed information. The contractor is responsible for the field verifying any measurements, sizes and quantities prior to bidding and starting construction. Scope of work is expected to be completed in single phases. The contractor may propose multiple phasing for County to consider so that one boiler is being replaced while others are in operation. After award of contract, the Contractor will be required to submit a detailed schedule of work plan for the completion of the project. If applicable, plan must include phasing of each major part of the project.
