The project generally consists of the following: - Removal and replacement of approximately 5,700 LF of sanitary sewer infrastructure including sewer main, manholes, laterals to the right-of-way line and pavement restoration. - Portions of sewer mains within easements outside of street rights-of-way include tree removal and restoration of landscaping. - Existing streets within the project area will receive a 1.5" bituminous overlay upon completion of the sewer replacement. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders should review the content of the Contractor Responsibility Certification Form (Document 00 4515) as well as the provisions of the Responsible Contractor Resolution also found in Document 00 4515. Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to make an award to such bidder who, in the judgment of the Authority, makes the most advantageous bid. Bids are invited from qualified bidders. The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
