Contractor will make all reasonable attempts to hire minority contractors, Indian-owned or women- and veteran-owned businesses for at least 5% of subcontracting opportunities NEW HOUSING CONSTRUCTION Project Location: 214, 216, 218, 219, 220 and 221 Stephenson Street, Iscani Subdivision, Anadarko, OK 73005 The Wichita Housing Authority proposes building six 4-bedroom homes for a total of 6 rental units of new housing. Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply. This project is federally funded by a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Indian Housing Block Grant. The project will be inspected by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Tulsa District. The Corps will also review pay applications for the Wichita Housing Authority s recommendation to pay. Owner requires a fulltime site superintendent during construction. A 100% payment and 100% performance bond will be required at the time of contracting at 30% design. This project is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 USC 1701u); 24 CFR part 135 and Title I of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996, as amended, (25 U.S.C. 4101 et seq.); and the Indian Housing Block Grant program regulations at 24 CFR 1000.
