Renovation of a detention facility in Anamosa, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for repointing, repairs, cleaning and sealing of stone around various buildings identified at Anamosa State Penitentiary, Anamosa, Iowa 52205. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on July 17, 2025 and end on January 15, 2026. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. This project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax. Davis Bacon Wages will not apply to this project.
