*As of December 19, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.* This Project includes selective demolition of concrete, wood and steel from an existing concrete pad. The concrete pad was formerly the floor slab of a building. The building was demolished several years ago leaving behind some broken jagged edges around the perimeter wall of the concrete slab. Some rebar and wood column remnants are protruding from the concrete along the perimeter wall and along the column lines. The perimeter walls are proposed to be cleaned up from loose and foreign material. The column lines are proposed to sawcut and the concrete/wood/steel removed and disposed. The holes from the column line removals shall be backfilled with compacted DGA. The Paducah-McCracken County Riverport Authority will receive sealed bids for the Paducah-McCracken County Riverport Authority's Concrete Pad Demolition Project and Concrete Pad Project The projects will be bid separately but concurrently.
