Completed plans call for the construction of a 19,346-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

SCOPE OF WORK: The general scope of the work includes but is not limited to: Construction of a new facility to house the University Grounds Department. The building will be comprised of a Pre-Engineered Metal Building with Standing Seam metal Roofing, Metal Panel Siding. Also included is new parking and site improvements which include but are not limited to new asphalt/striping, curb and gutter, retaining walls, and tree removal. BONDS: A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the University of South Alabama in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000 must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required at the signing of the contract. Should any bidder observe any ambiguity, discrepancy, omission, or error in the drawings and specifications, or in any other bid document, or be in doubt as to the intention and meaning of these documents, the bidder should immediately report such to the Architect and request clarification. b. Clarification will be made only by written Addenda sent to all prospective bidders. Neither the Architect nor the Awarding Authority will be responsible in any manner for verbal answers or instructions regarding intent or meaning of the Bid Documents.
