Participating vendors will design and implement the RF distribution network This will need to include the following: Installation of new Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDA) Installation of new Battery Back Ups (BBU) Ground new units to specifications Provide and install coaxial cable between the splitters and the designated locations for each distribution antenna as specified in the system design Install distribution antennas that will be secured to the ceiling structure Install all the cable terminations, signal splitters, cable securing hardware Document antenna locations Sweep all cable runs and document readings Test buildings for coverage document Provide as build drawings Install fiber in existing runs Apply power to the system and perform system optimization that will include all signal levels at each antenna site A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the amount of the largest possible total proposal must be submitted. Failure to do so will disqualify the proposal. Vendor shall deposit such bond with the proposal in the form of a Cashier's or Certified Check or Bid Bond executed by a satisfactory Surety Company. Bid bond must be made payable to the La Joya I.S.D., guaranteeing that if the work is awarded to the vendor on the basis of the proposal, the vendor will enter into a satisfactory contract and execute a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Upon completion of this project, contractor will submit a letter of acceptance and certification and must include all warranties to be accepted by La Joya I.S.D. Upon receipt of such documentation and acceptance of project completion by the La Joya I.S.D., bonds will be released to the awarded vendor. The term for this proposal is from School Board approval date through May 31, 2025. La Joya I.S.D. reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or select the proposal deemed most advantageous to the District as determined by the District. Proposals received are subject to negotiation between La Joya I.S.D. and submitting vendor. La Joya I.S.D. reserves the right to negotiate any aspect of the specifications or submittal as it best serves the needs of the District. Please contact David L.
