**As of August 25, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. La Joya Independent School District is seeking competitive sealed proposals from qualified vendors to furnish, deliver, and install a complete outdoor LED video scoreboard system for the district's football stadium. The system should meet the District's operational, performance, and structural expectations as outlined in this solicitation. The selected vendor shall provide a turnkey scoreboard solution, including but not limited to: o Outdoor LED video display with full-color capability o Video processor, media player, and control software o Audio system compatible with live game day events o Integration of existing infrastructure where possible o Turnkey electrical installation, including but not limited to: o All required conduit, wiring, terminations, connections, and circuit protection o Coordination with La Joya ISD's Maintenance and Facilities Department o Procurement of all necessary permits and inspections to ensure compliance with local and state codes o Structural mounting system for scoreboard and speakers o Delivery, installation, testing, and training o One-year minimum service support after final acceptance o Minimum 10-year warranty on parts and labor for all major components o Full restoration of any damaged property or infrastructure caused during installation In addition to installation, the scope of work includes the complete removal of the existing scoreboard system. o The current scoreboard, located on the south side of the football field, must remain fully functional and operational throughout the duration of football season and related district events. o The new scoreboard will be relocated to the north side of the field, and its installation must not interfere with ongoing use of the existing system. o Once approved for removal, the existing scoreboard must be dismantled and removed intact, as it will be retained and auctioned by La Joya ISD. o The contractor must also carefully remove and return all existing letter signage and La Joya ISD logos to district personnel. Additional removal work must include the following: o Complete removal of the existing electrical panel, feeders, and all telecommunications cabling o All cabling must be fully removed, and existing conduit must be capped and left below grade o All existing steel footings must be cut below grade, and the exposed area must be filled with new concrete matching the original strength and composition of the foundation All electrical and structureal work must be performaed by properly licensed professionals. o Electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrician registered in the State of Texas o Structural design and installation must be sealed by a professional engineer licencesed in Texas Question Deadline 05/27/2025 If there are any questions regarding any part of this solicitation, please contact: Rachelle Ruiz, Senior Purchasing Buyer via e-mail: r.ruiz3@lajoyaisd.net. A. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the amount of the largest possible total must be submitted with the proposal. Proposers shall deposit such bond with the Proposal in the form of a Cashier's or Certified Check or Bid Bond executed by a satisfactory Surety Company. Bid bond must be made payable to the La Joya ISD, guaranteeing that if the work is awarded to the Proposer on the basis of the Proposer's submittal, the Proposer will enter into a satisfactory contract and execute a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Any proposal received without a Bid Bond, certified or Cashier's Check will be automatically disqualified
