Renovation of a stadium in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.

Ramsey County seeks contractor to remove the existing HVAC system from the roof of Highland Arena to facilitate the installation of a new roof system. Once the new roof installation is complete the contractor will reinstall the HVAC system to ensure continued functionality and optimal performance. CERT Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. Question Deadline Dec 17, 2024 Specifications 1. Condensing Unit Management o Remove and store (2) existing Russell 12-fan air-cooled condensing units at a location on-site as determined by the roofing contractor. o Re-install the units after roofing is completed. Roofing contractor to notify Mechanical contractor. 2. Refrigerant Handling Safely remove and store R-22 refrigerant from the existing units prior to removal, in accordance with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) requirements. 3. HVAC System Removal o Turn off gas, water, and electricity to the HVAC systems. o Properly collect and store all refrigerant in compliance with environmental and safety regulations. o Cap off all HVAC pipes to prevent damage or contamination during the roof installation process. o Remove all electrical wiring, junction boxes, and associated components. 4. Roof Installation Phase o Collaborate with the roofing contractor to ensure project alignment. o Ensure that the roof installation proceeds without interference from HVAC components. o Verify that all capped pipes and removed components are properly stored and secured during the roof work. 5. HVAC System Reinstallation Reinstall all HVAC systems once the roof installation is complete, including: Moving the HVAC units back onto the new roof (Middle building roof). Reinstalling all electrical wiring and junction boxes. Installing gas lines with unions to facilitate future roof replace, Installing any other necessary components for proper operation of the HVAC systems. Inspecting all components for proper operation. Replacing all unit filters to ensure optimal system performance. Checking refrigerant levels during reinstallation and adding refrigerant if low to ensure proper system operation.
