Project Kingsbury/Willow/Chadwick Intersection Improvements Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. There will be no Pre-bid Meeting for this contract. Bidders may visit the work site location on their own schedule, if they want. Questions concerning this bid must be submitted in writing by email to: Steven Bucuzzo at purchasing@haverhillma.gov before 4:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Written responses will be emailed to all persons having obtained this IFB from purchasing@haverhillma.gov Scope of Work; A. The work to be done under this contract consists of the reconstruction of the Kingsbury/Willow/Chadwick Intersection in the City of Haverhill. The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, minor roadway alignment, roadway pavement reconstruction by full depth construction, fine milling and resurfacing, new bituminous concrete driveway apron, storm water drainage, new traffic signing and pavement markings, site stabilization and other incidental work. B. All work under this contract shall be done in conformance with the MassDOT's Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges dated 2022, as amended; the 2015 Overhead Signal Structure and Foundation Standard Drawings; the October 2017 Construction Standard Details, the 1990 Standard Drawings for Signs and Supports; the latest Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) with Massachusetts Amendments and the Standard Municipal Traffic Code; the 1968 Standard Drawings for Traffic Signals and Highway Lighting, and the latest edition of the American Standard for Nursery Stock; the Plans and the Special Provisions. C. For the work specified under this Contract, the Contractor shall be prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Highway Division (MassDOT) in Highway Construction. D. The estimated cost for the work is $485,000
