Renovation of an educational facility in Columbus, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

This project will repair and replace deteriorated roofs at The Ohio State University, Columbus Campus. Buildings to be included in the project consist of Scott Lab (148), Independence Hall (338), Parks Hall (273), and the Physical Activity and Education Services (PAES, 245). We expect to encounter modified bitumen, single-ply membrane, and metal roof types. The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss and clarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the Architect/Engineer Agreement detailed cost components to address the Owner's project requirements. Participate in the Encouraging Growth, Diversity & Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. Required Professional Liability Insurance will be per Exhibit A - A/E Terms and Conditions Article 7.2.6. As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: o Program Verification o Schematic Design o Design Development o Construction Document Preparation o Bid and Award Support o Conformed Documents o Construction Administration o Post-Construction o Additional Services of all types Professional Services Start: 04 / 25 Construction Notice to Proceed: 07 / 26 Substantial Completion of all Work: 12 / 27 Professional Services Completed: 06 / 28 Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Dan Sayer at sayer.38@osu.edu EDGE Participation Goal: 5% Work will be prioritized and sequenced to minimize impacts to buildings and occupants. The project's construction will likely be completed in phases over the span of (2) calendar years. The university reserves the right to add, modify or delete scope or buildings as noted in the RFQ. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
