Site work and renovation of a civil project in Thornville, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of June 16, 2025, an engineer has been selected, and this project is in the final planning phase. It is anticipated biddiing will commence in summer 2025. Construction is expected to start in fall 2025 with a 12 month duration. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Village of Thornville intends to contract professional engineering services in connection with Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements: Phase 2 Infiltration and Inflow Reduction Project . The specific type of sewer project estimates approximately 23,024 feet of sewer lining and 169 manholes to be lined. The survey and sanitary sewer manhole and pipelining plans and specification are completed. The consultant shall be familiar with the Village of Thornville's rules and regulations for sewer utility. The Village reserves the right to reject all RFQs or utilize the selected engineering firm or firms for providing engineering services for any or all portions of the projects. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
