The purpose of this request for proposals ("RFP") is to help the Honeoye Central School District ("District") select a qualified firm to provide comprehensive construction management services for a capital construction project for the District and for other services as needed including: collaborating with the project architect; preparing and updating as needed a project schedule; coordinating the activities of multiple contractors to meet the milestone dates set in the project schedule; providing cost estimating and accounting services; providing project status updates; coordinating construction in compliance with the Contract Documents; and providing related professional services, consisting of the reconstruction and improvement of the interior and exterior of the Honeoye Central School building, and site/campus, all of the foregoing to include related site work, original furnishings, fixtures and equipment, architectural fees, and all other necessary costs incidental to such work, a total sum not to exceed $10,525,000, (together, the "Project"). Proposals should reflect construction management costs in the following categories: (I) Logistical Planning. (2) Collaboration with the District's architect in developing preliminary plans/specifications with cost estimates for review by the District and the preparation of final plans/specifications. (3) Preparation of bid packages and contracts, and management of Project work. (4) Construction Administration and Closeout. (5) Consulting Services.The selected Construction Manager shall not bid or perform any of the trade construction work.
