Renovation of a municipal facility in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Sealed bids will be received by Peoria Civic Center Authority, PEORIA, ILLINOIS hereinafter known as the OWNER, for the Peoria Civic Center Authority MASONRY MAINTENANCE. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from due date. Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents and shall be placed in a sealed envelope labeled "Peoria Civic Center Authority MASONRY MAINTENANCE". The project scope of work includes, but is not limited to tuckpointing, enlarging control joints, cutting new control joints, control joint caulk, shelf angle caulk, enlarging shelf angle joint and caulk, and replacing existing brick. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept or reject any bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Bids on work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act" (Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 48, Paragraph 39s - 1-12). Bidder Questions: Questions will be allowed at the meeting but do not constitute a modification to the Procurement and Contracting Documents. Modifications to the Procurement and Contracting Documents are issued by written Addendum only
