The City of Federal Way ("City") is soliciting statements of qualifications and performance data from traffic engineers, planners and traffic safety professionals in connection with performing services for the City pursuant to Chapter 39.80 RCW. The City's needs are outlined in the full Request for Statements ("Request") on the City's website. More specifically, this planning level study will be conducted to develop a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan for the City of Federal Way that complies with USDOT's Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant Program. SELECTION CRITERIA Firms will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria: Responsiveness of the SOQ to the purpose and scope of services; Ability and history of successfully completing contracts of this type, meeting projected deadlines, experience in similar work; Firm experience with federally funded project documentation; Experience of specific individuals assigned to perform the proposed work; References.
