Request for bid for regularly scheduled pick up and occasional on call pick up for non-hazardous solid waste removal from the Central Services Building and the Water Reclamation Facility. The sole purpose of this Request for Bids is to establish a contract for non-hazardous solid waste, construction & demolition debris, and grit screening removal and disposal at the following Daphne Utilities' facilities: 1. Central Services Building - 8301 Well Road 2. Water Reclamation Facility - 29280 North Main Street. Daphne Utilities will require regularly scheduled pick ups as well as on-call pickups (with a minimum of 24 hours' notice). Container liners will be provided at no charge as part of the service if requested. Vendor may be required to provide manifest documenting disposal of all waste as defined by 40 CFR 261 and in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations The contract will be for 3 years beginning December 16, 2024, with the option to be renewed annually for two (2) additional one-year periods if mutually agreed upon by both parties. Unless otherwise specified in the bid, all prices will be a on a firm-fixed price basis and are not subject to adjustments based on costs incurred. Daphne Utilities reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informality in any bid or in the bid process, or to terminate the bid process at any time, if deemed by Daphne Utilities to be in the best interest of Daphne Utilities. Award will be by total cost. Bidder understands that bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after bid closing time.
