Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cambridge, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Work includes the construction of approximately 610m of 150mm diameter watermain, 300m of 300mm to 450mm diameter storm sewer, 305m of 200mm diameter sanitary sewer, 5000 m2 of asphalt roadway, 1235 m2 of concrete sidewalk, 944m of concrete curb and gutter and other miscellaneous works for the reconstruction of Richardson Street, Kay Street and Byng Avenue. The number of working days to complete this Work is 120 days. The expected start date for this project is April 15, 2025. The successful bidder shall stage construction to minimize disruption to the public and facilitate access to driveways to as great an extent as possible. The Work is to be constructed three (3) stages. The stages are generally as follows: - Stage 1 - Richardson St - Cedar St to Victoria Ave - Stage 2 - Kay St - Cedar St to Victoria Ave - Stage 3 - Byng Avenue - Salisbury Avenue to St. Andrews St The successful bidder must complete the construction of Stage 1 to base asphalt prior to commencement of Stage 2 of the project.
