Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cambridge, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This Request for Tender (the RFT) is an invitation by the City of Cambridge (the City) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Bruce Street and Spruce Street Reconstruction, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix D) (the Deliverables). Work includes the construction of approximately 380m of 150mm diameter watermain, 340m of 200mm diameter sanitary sewer, 270m of 300mm to 375mm diameter storm sewer, 3500 m2 of asphalt roadway, 1100 m2 of concrete sidewalk, 850m of concrete curb and gutter and other miscellaneous works for the reconstruction of Bruce Street and Spruce Street. The successful bidder shall stage construction to minimize disruption to the public and facilitate access to driveways to as great an extent as possible. Driveway access must be provided at end of workday.
