The Toho Water Authority ("TOHO") is soliciting Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Elevator Maintenance and Repair Services. The Hydraulic Elevator Equipment is located at the Toho Water Authority's Administration Building at 951 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Kissimmee, Florida 34741. The awarded Contractor agrees to enter into a minimum of two (2) year agreement for the maintenance and repair services of the elevators. The licensed and experienced Contractor will maintain the above indicated elevator equipment as hereafter described. They will be qualified to keep the equipment properly adjusted and maintain the elevators in proper and safe operating condition. The equipment below should be regularly and systematically adjusted and lubricated to ensure that the elevators operate as always needed. The Contractor will immediately communicate to the Toho representative if any additional repair work/spares are needed. Motors & Machines Valves, jack packing, packing glands, pump motors, valves, motor bearings, motor windings, stator or rotors, mufflers, pipe fittings (above ground), hydraulic oil, gear oil, brakes, machine gears and bearings, motor generators sets, carbon brushes, governor equipment, all safety devices and mechanisms. Controllers & Landing System Controller, selector, relay panels, wiring to controls, electrical components, solid state boards, drive units. AWARD TOHO reserves the right to make an award to the responsive and responsible bidder whose product or service meets the terms, conditions, and specifications or whose Quote is considered to be in the TOHO's best interest. A purchase order is required prior to commencement of work. The award period for this quote is for a minimum of two (2) years from February 18, 2025, to February 17, 2027. Toho reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to accept all or any part of any bid as they may deem to be its best interest. A. Vendor and vendors performing work on Toho-owned or leased facilities or property shall maintain insurance coverage. Vendor shall submit a copy of their Certificate of Liability Insurance to procurement@tohowater.com. B. Toho is self-insured in compliance with Section 768.28, Florida Statutes. As a result, Toho shall not, under any circumstances, be responsible or liable for obtaining or maintaining commercial insurance. Vendor shall be permitted to request a certificate documenting Toho's self-insured status.
