The City of Ottawa, herein after referred to as the City, is seeking a qualified contractor for the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment to sandblast and recoat the interior surfaces of two Sodium Hypochlorite storage tanks at the Britannia Water Purification Plant located at 2731 Cassels Street . A Performance Bond and Labour & Material Payment Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Total Tender Price from a surety company authorized by law to carry out business in the Province of Ontario. Such deposits will be retained until completion of the Contract to the satisfaction of the City. The Performance Security may be reduced at various stages of the Project, at the discretion of the City. Commercial General Liability insurance issued on an occurrence basis for an amount of not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence for any negligent acts or omissions by the Contractor. Such insurance shall include, but is not limited to, bodily injury, death and property damage including loss of use: premises, property and operations liability; products and broad form completed operations liability; blanket contractual liability; cross liability; severability of interest clause; contingent employers liability; personal injury liability; owner's and contractor's protective coverage; non-owned automobile liability; broad form property damage; employees as additional Insured; occurrence property damage.
