Extension of MaArthur Boulevard between Woodside Road and Knights Recreation Drive. Includes full-depth HMA, resurfacing, curb and gutter, pipe culverts, storm sewer, lighting, and signage. This project includes the construction of MacArthur Boulevard between Woodside Road on the south end and Knights Recreation Drive on the north end. This segment of MacArthur Boulevard is on new alignment and under the jurisdiction of Sangamon County. It is a minor arterial with a suburban four-lane typical section. This four-lane section will include curb and gutter along the outside lanes with a raised grass median separating the travel lanes.
