Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Ida Grove, Iowa. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 5,132-square-foot medical facility.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, drawn on a solvent bank made payable to Ida County EMS or a bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid under conditions further described in the ''Form of Proposal''. Bid securities of the unsuccessful bidder will be returned immediately after award of contract. Failure of the successful bidder to execute a contract and file an acceptable bond and certificate of insurance within fifteen (15) days of the date of approval for awarding of the contract, as herein provided, will be just and sufficient cause of the denial of the award and the forfeiture of the 5% bond. The Owner, Ida County EMS reserves the right to reject bids, to waive irregularities in bids, or to accept any bid which may be in the best interests of the Owner. For an interpretation of any part of the Drawings, Specifications, or other proposed Contract Documents, contact the Engineers office at 220 South Westcott St., Sioux City, Iowa phone (712) 255-0036. Any interpretation of the Contract Documents as to meaning should there be discrepancy or omission, should be requested at least 72 hours in advance of the letting and a copy will be sent to update each Contract Document set
