Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, drawn on a solvent bank made payable to Ida County EMS or a bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid under conditions further described in the ''Form of Proposal''. Bid securities of the unsuccessful bidder will be returned immediately after award of contract. Failure of the successful bidder to execute a contract and file an acceptable bond and certificate of insurance within fifteen (15) days of the date of approval for awarding of the contract, as herein provided, will be just and sufficient cause of the denial of the award and the forfeiture of the 5% bond. The Owner, Ida County EMS reserves the right to reject bids, to waive irregularities in bids, or to accept any bid which may be in the best interests of the Owner.
