Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work generally consists of the construction of a structural foundation and pad to support the cryogenic molecular sieve equipment, as well as the extension of electrical and controls from the Oxygen Building to the equipment pad, construction of an access drive, and other site improvements needed to accompany the installation of the cryogenic molecular sieve equipment. The City Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost for the Work is $300,000. Question Deadline 01/01/2025 Late Start Date: March 3rd, 2025 Final Completion: June 30th, 2025 Bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code, in the amount of FIVE percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. The City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter such contracts as it deems in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for 45 calendar days after the bids have been received and opened.
