Reference#0000283257 TIMELINE: Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ) by Simon Fraser University (SFU) to prospective proponents (the "Proponents") to submit their responses in compliance with the requirements outlined in this RFSQ is underway. The objective of this RFSQ is to establish a list of Qualified Electrical Consultants whom SFU will engage to respond to specific invitations to bid for projects, or to directly award work across SFU's Burnaby, Surrey, and Vancouver campuses in connection with projects. The engagement of Qualified Electrical Consultants will be on an as-needed basis for design and construction phase services for projects with estimated construction costs up to $5,000,000, or for pre-design services for projects, provided the overall pre-design fee does not exceed $300,000. The selected Proponent(s) are to be included on SFU's lists of Qualified Electrical Consultants for a period of one (1) year, with an option in favour of SFU to extend the term for inclusion on the list for an additional two (2) one (1) year terms. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform
