The project consists of stormwater improvements including storm sewer, curb inlets, junction boxes, headwalls, a detention pond outfall structure/weir, and roadway demolition and repair. The construction project will take place in and adjacent to the Richmond Hills Estates Subdivision in Primera, Texas. Bidders are expected to thoroughly inspect the site of work and to inform themselves regarding all local conditions. Estimate: $650,000 The deadline to ask questions is 12/12/2024 5:00 PM CST Bidders must submit with each bid a Bid Bond in the amount of five-percent (5%) of the bid executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety. A certified check or bank draft in the amount of five-percent (5%) of the bid payable to the order of the CITY OF PRIMERA, TEXAS, or negotiable U.S. Government Bond (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. This Bid Bond will be held as a guaranty that the Bidder will enter into a Contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract. THE CITY OF PRIMERA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held for a period not exceeding sixty (90) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of review of the Bids and investigating the Bidders' qualifications prior to the contract award. All contractors and/or subcontractors that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project.
