The New York State Office of General Services Design & Construction Group (OGS D&C) intends to contract with up to eight (8) firms to provide Engineering and/or Architectural Services. Firms must possess a strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering background as assigned tasks will primarily be in these areas of expertise. Other tasks may also include architectural, site/civil/utility engineering, structural engineering, fire protection/fire alarm engineering, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability. The majority of projects will involve the rehabilitation of existing facilities. General Description Compliance with applicable NYS codes is required. Deliverables will be 30%, 60%, 80%, 100%, and Final contract documents with detailed cost estimates at each deliverable. CONSULTANT shall include administrative and procedural requirements to plan, schedule, and document the progress of the Design Process and predict and prevent delays to established activities and milestones during the performance of the scope identified herein. Bid Phase and Construction Phase will include, but not be limited to, review and approval of contractor submittals, responses to Requests For Information (RFI's), development of Information Bulletins (IB's), Change Orders (CO's) and to provide Construction Phase design support as required by the OGS D&C Director's Representative. The CONSULTANT is referred to the document "OGS DESIGN PROCEDURES MANUAL" to become familiar with the policies, procedures and standards of the State, and detailed phase descriptions.
