The project Scope of Work includes the following: Design of the group of outdoor amenities at the Yvonne Starks Wilson Park, located at 3515 Oakley Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri 64106. Construction plans, Specifications, Material Designations, Operations and Maintenance Manuals, Warranty Information and all remaining items defined in this RFQP are required. City desires that Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women is Business Enterprises (WBE) have a maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of City contracts. The goals for this specific Project are (14%) MBE participation and (14%) WBE participation. It is strongly encouraged to exceed the current participation goals. Contractors who exceed the specified goals will receive extra points towards overall submittal score. All Bids submitted must be accompanied by a Bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base Bid which shall be in the form of a Bid Bond (on the form provided in these Bidding Documents), Cashier is Check, Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit or other instrument approved in advance by the City. Before submittal of the Bid the City Treasurer must approve both the financial institution and text of a Letter of Credit.
