The base bid work shall consist of sanitary, combined, and storm sewer rehabilitation via the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) in approximately 4,490 LF of sewers ranging in size from 6-inches to 21-inches. The Mandatory Add Alternate Bid No. 1 work shall consist of CIPP installation in approximately 326 LF of 10-inch combined sewer. The Mandatory Add Alternate Bid No. 2 work shall consist of CIPP installation in approximately 308 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer. The Mandatory Add Alternate Bid No. 3 work shall consist of CIPP installation in approximately 319 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer. The Mandatory Add Alternate Bid No. 4 work shall consist of CIPP installation in approximately 503 LF of 6-inch to 12-inch storm sewer. The Mandatory Add Alternate Bid No. 5 work shall consist of CIPP installation in approximately 745 LF of 12-inch storm sewer. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects in bids or bidding procedure, or reject any and all bids, or to accept the bid from the lowest most responsible and responsive bidder as exclusively determined by the Owner. The Contractor to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price and must be in full force and effect throughout the term of the Construction Contract plus a period of twelve (12) months from the date of substantial completion.
