Site work and paving for a civil project in Oxford, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The Town of Oxford (Town) is seeking to engage the services of a Consulting Engineering firm to provide engineering services for the preparation of contract plans and documents for the subject transportation project. At the Towns discretion, the selected firm may also be requested to perform construction engineering and inspection services. The improvements will include constructing a multiuse path along the south side of Route 67 between Dutton Road and Quarry Walk. The project will include lighting, street furniture, and crosswalks as recommended by the Oxford Route 67 Alternative Transportation Study Final Report, town staff, and the Connecticut Department of Transportation. The project also includes the design and construction of three pedestrian bridges to carry the multiuse path over watercourses along the route. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) subconsultant goal for this assignment is ten percent (10%) of the original agreement value. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
