Bid is cancelled, *As of March 6 , 2025 Project has not been awarded , No anticipated award date * Continuous Supply of 19% Aqueous Ammonia to Riverside Public Utilities Power Plants. The City of Riverside utilizes 19% aqueous ammonia at three of their electric generating facilities. Aqueous ammonia is injected into a selective catalyst reduction section to reduce NOx emissions and meet operating permit conditions. Each facility has ammonia storage tanks and having adequate ammonia is vital to plant operations. Riverside Energy Resource Center (RERC) is an electric peaking facility located at 5901 Payton Ave Riverside, CA 92504. Normal hours of operation are from 0700 hrs. to 1530 hrs. Storage tank capacity is 13,400 gallons. Clearwater Cogen Power Plant (Clearwater) is a combined cycle power plant located at 2201 Railroad St Corona, CA, 92880. Normal operations are from 0700 hrs. to 1530 hrs. Storage tank capacity is 6,600 gallons. Springs Power Plant (Springs) is located at 2221 Eastridge Avenue, Riverside, CA 92507. Normal operations are from 0700 hrs. to 1530 hrs. Storage tank capacity is 5,400 gallons. Note: Due to remote location, deliveries of Ammonia to Springs must be coordinated through RERC. individual ("Company") to provide 19% Aqueous Ammonia deliveries to their electric generating facilities located at City of Riverside Public Utilities (RPU) power plants: Riverside Energy Resource Center, 5901 Payton Street, Riverside, CA 92504; Clearwater Power Plant, 2201 Railroad Street Corona, CA 92878; and Springs Power Plant, 2221 Eastridge Ave. Riverside, CA 92507. The City of Riverside estimates approximately five to six deliveries per year with an estimated delivery quantity up to 50,000 gallons of Aqueous Ammonia per year. Please Note: the quantities indicated are only estimates and the City may decrease or increase as needed. Company shall input price for each item in the Line Items tab within Planet Bids. Depending on operating demands, usage can be up to ten (10) deliveries per year. The City desires fixed pricing for the up to three (3) fiscal years with options of two (2) additional years of fixed pricing for a total of five (5) years. Question Deadline 12/30/2024 at 2:00 PM PT All requests for clarifications and questions must be submitted via "Q&A" through online Vendor Portal. Start/Delivery Date The City anticipates contract commencement date of July 1, 2025. Project Duration The initial term of the Purchase Order shall be from July 01, 2025, through June 30, 2028, with the options to extend for two (2) additional one-year terms not to exceed five (5) years.
