Reference Number 0000369822 GENERAL: This specification describes the minimum material and quality requirements for Stone Filling and Rip Rap for use in construction and maintenance of highways. Stone Filling shall be produced to provide various sizes, weight and dimensions in accordance with NYSDOT 620 -Bank and Channel Protection.2. BID PRICES: Bidders must provide bid prices per ton for the product including delivery to any point within Chemung County.3. MATERIALS: Figures 620-1 and 620-2 are provided to assist in the evaluation and gradation of materials considered for use as Stone Filling and Dry Riprap.a. Stone Filling: shall consist of well graded stone suitable for placement as protective material on stream banks, in channels and elsewhere. Gradation of materials provided shall be as specified in Figure 620-1 and will be accepted or rejected based on a visual examination of material by Owner. Purchase Type Duration: 3/31/2025 through 3/31/2026 Option: up to one additional year Questions are submitted online General Requirements - Insurance Required *The County of Chemung reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive anyinformality.
