Renovation of a municipal facility in Richmond, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 38,760-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility.
This project involves the renovation of an existing annex facility in central Kentucky to enhance functionality and modernize the space. The renovation includes the reconfiguration of fiscal courtroom and IT office spaces to meet contemporary standards. Key components of the project include: o HVAC Upgrades: Reworking the existing HVAC systems to accommodate the new layout and ensure optimal climate control for specialized areas such as IT offices and fiscal courtroom. o Interior Finishes: Installation of durable and aesthetically appealing finishes, tailored to the requirements of public-facing and high-use spaces. o Lighting and Fixtures: Upgrades to energy-efficient lighting systems and the incorporation of modern fixtures to enhance usability and appearance. o Technology Integration: Provision for IT infrastructure improvements to support office operations and courtroom technology needs. o Site work is not anticipated. The Project is to be complete within 150 calendar days from the commencement of the work. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the owner in an amount of not less than 5% of the bid. The award of the contract shall be made on the basis of the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the interest of Madison County Fiscal Court. No bidder may withdraw his / her bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the bid opening. Successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. All questions during the bidding period shall be submitted via email to Adam Gillett (integrity / Architecture) at adam@integrityarch.com no later than December 6, 2024. All answers to bidders' questions will be via addenda. Final addenda will be issued no later than December 10, 2024. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and shall have the right to reject any and all bids.
