The Project consists of streetscape improvements as well as utility construction including sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer reconstruction and surfacing reconstruction including asphalt paving, sidewalks, and other corresponding construction items at the 2 nd Avenue & Main Street Intersection and the 4th Avenue and Main Street Intersection. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: McLaury Engineering, Inc., 110 N. First Street, Parkston, SD 57366, ph. 605-928-7676. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 A.M. and 5 P.M.; and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Pursuant to State Law, a copy of the bidder's sales and use tax license and a copy of the bidder's excise tax license as issued by the State of South Dakota must accompany the bid. In lieu of a copy of the license, the bidder shall submit appropriate evidence that the bidder and all affiliates have the appropriate licenses. The City of Mitchell reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. r.
