The City of San Antonio (City), Public Works Department (PWD) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from interested professional architectural firms (Respondents) for the design and construction administration services for the D2 Senior Center and Conceptual Master Plan (Project). Through this solicitation, the City's intents to select one architectural/engineering firm for architectural/engineering design and construction administration services for this Project. The contract duration is throughout the project completion. The Respondent understands and agrees that this is a 485-calendar day contract. The estimated completion of the project is August 2026, and is not-to-exceed this contract value is approximately $1.8 million. Estimate: 1,800,000.00 On May 9, 2024, The City of San Antonio purchased 12.21 acres of land at 4911 Lord Rd. adjacent to Copernicus Park for senior center and affordable senior housing in District 2. On October 3, 2024, Council approval of a Funding Agreement between the City of San Antonio and the Inner City TIRZ Board of Directors for an amount up to $1,800,000 for expenses related to design for a senior center and development of a concept master plan for the Lord Road property and adjacent Copernicus Park.
