Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; for site work for a fitness / recreation center; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a fitness / recreation center.
Repair/replace gymnasium portico including demolishing existing concrete walkway and slab, prepping area, and installing new concrete walkway and slab. Install new drywell and downspout leaders. The scope covered by this Statement of Work (SOW) consists of furnishing all parts, material, equipment and labor and in performing all necessary travel and subcontractor services required to cover the work herein described. The Independent Government Estimate for this project is $110,000.00. Existing Conditions and Background The Fitness Center is located at 4180 Connery Avenue, Camp Edwards, MA 02542. The exterior was renovated in 2007. New concrete walkways were installed in 2015. The concrete entrance is original to the facility, circa 1940. The concrete walkways were not designed/installed to slope water away from the facility. The downspouts drop water at the edge of the entrance concrete walkway which undermines the walkway and creates minor flooding on the walkway. The walkway has outlived its lifecycle. The issuing department reserves the right to not respond to questions submitted after this date.
