Project Request for Qualifications for One (1) Trade Contractor Package: Elevators, for IQ Center - Quinsigamond Community College, Worcester, MA. This Project is a complete renovation of an existing 50,000 sq. ft. athletic building being fit out into an accessible student center with active-learning classrooms, student life/student success spaces, collaboration/study spaces, wellness spaces, cafe/nutrition lab, and multi-purpose rooms. This is a Construction Manager at Risk project under MGL Ch149A. Interested firms MUST submit a Qualification Statement by the deadline and be prequalified if they are interested in later bidding on the project. DCAMM Certification applies to this process. This Request for Qualifications is the first part of a two-step process for Trade Contractors. First, interested firms must submit the Qualification Statement. Then, at a later date, only prequalified firms will be invited to submit bids for the category of works in which they were prequalified. This Qualification Statement is different from DCAMM Certification. All firms must be qualified for this project, even if they are already DCAMM Certified.
