The City of Burlington Water Resources Department (City) solicits interest from consultants who wish to be evaluated and considered to provide storm water engineering and economic impact evaluation services. The City requires these services to determine beneficial and economically feasible watershed improvement projects based on proposed alternatives from consultant findings with the goal of improving the current and future condition of Mays Lake located in Burlington, North Carolina, improving water quality of Little Alamance Creek, and minimize upstream and downstream flooding. Project Location Mays Lake is located near E. Lake Drive, east of O Neil Street and north of S. Church Street in Burlington, North Carolina. Due to the nature of the project, the proposed project area may extend to include adjacent areas within the defined watershed.
