The City of Lawrenceville is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for On-Demand Underground Electric Distribution Cable Installation on an Annual Contract with four (4) renewal options for the City of Lawrenceville Electric Department. Provision of all labor and equipment in performing all work necessary for underground electrical work at various locations throughout the City of Lawrenceville. This is a demand service contract for labor and equipment to supplement the City of Lawrencevilles Electric Department work force and will be used on an as needed basis. Questions regarding bids should be directed to Steve Murray, Purchasing Manager, at steve.murray@lawrencevillega.org or by calling 678-407-6420 no later than 2:00 P.M. on December 18, 2024. Bids are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted Successful contractor will be required to meet insurance requirements. The Insurance Company should be authorized to do business in Georgia by the Georgia Insurance Department, and must have an A.M. Best rating of A-5 or higher. The written bid documents supersede any verbal or written prior communications between the parties. Award will be made to the contractor submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The City of Lawrenceville reserves the right to reject any or all bids to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Bids may be split or awarded in entirety.
