Renovation of a multi-residential development in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

As of January 13, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA), on behalf of Fairway-Lorain LLC, is seeking quotes from qualified contractors for the Fairway Manor GFCI Upgrades SCOPE OF WORK a. Perform an electrical inspection on 55 kitchens, and bathrooms and where present, remove, and replace the standard 3-prong outlets with GFCI outlets (commercial specification grade GFCI receptacles) if none currently exist. Leviton. 20 Amp 125-Volt Duplex SmarTest Self-Test Smartlock Pro Tamper Resistant GFCI Outlet, Ivory or equal approved. Assume a total of (90) GFCIs. All Kitchen,and bathroom's GFCIs shall be functional, free from damage and electrical defects (V.I.F.). b. (V.I.F.). Total of 55 units. (Refer to UPCS Report). 90 outlets total refer to the list of attachments. c. Inspect every bathroom, and kitchens for exposed electrical wires. Test for grounds and shorts. Check for proper wiring at electrical receptacles as well as to check the function of existing GFCI's and replace as needed. d. Provide cutting and patching required for installation of electrical work. Paint to match. e. Replace damaged or missing wall plates. Provide and Install Leviton. Ivory 1-Gang Decorator/Rocker Wall Plate. Total of 90 Ea. It is the policy of CMHA to ensure that Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) have maximum opportunity to participate in CMHA contracting opportunities. To maximize MBE and WBE participation in CMHA contracting opportunities, CMHA will use its best efforts to secure 20% participation by MBEs and 10% by WBEs in all of CMHAs contracting and procurement expenditures. Respondents likewise must use their best efforts to ensure 20% participation by MBEs and 10% by WBEs in all subcontracts they execute. CMHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in its best interest. CMHA also reserves the right to seek additional or new bids and to waive informalities and minor inequities in bids received.
