Reference Number 0000283333 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/12/11 11:59:00 PM EST The City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the City, is seeking qualification submissions to provide professional engineering services to carry out preliminary and detailed design, tender documents, contract administration, construction inspection services and engineering services during construction for the modifications to the intersection of Hunt Club and Bank Street Specific tasks to be completed as part of the assignment are summarized below. Tasks not identified here but considered key to the project success should be included in the Consultant's Work Plan and an estimate of efforts and fees, within the additional tasks clearly noted for ease of reference by City staff during proposal evaluations. The Consultant should visit the site before submission of the proposal and will be required to provide all of the necessary personnel and resources to complete the project except where materials or information is to be supplied by the City or other agency as specifically indicated. The proposal should provide a complete project Work Plan, including discussion of project scope, schedule, objectives, cost estimate and proposed Consultant / City interaction. Any required adjustments to the Work Plan will be discussed with the successful team, and a finalized version provided to the City as a stand-alone document. The Consultant shall provide all the services required for the execution of this project including but not necessarily the requirements contained herein; Proiect Management At the commencement of the project, prepare a complete scope of work, work breakdown structure, baseline budget and schedule milestones for the duration of the entire project. The project schedule shall be based on project requirements, task duration, manpower requirements/availability and other material resources. Tasks shall be scheduled to occur sequentially and/or parallel. A construction cost estimate shall be prepared at the preliminary design, detailed design, and pre-tender phases. Provide monthly project updates that include information at all stages of the project. This should include activities completed to date, activities to be completed in the next month, planned communications to the public, status of preliminary design and detailed design, any technical issues requiring special attention and impacting on either schedule or financial components, risk management, status of approvals, status of overall project schedule and critical path, financial status showing project budget, approved scope increase, revised budget, spent to date ($ and % Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
