Site work for a road / highway in Lakin, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
For construction and related site improvements associated with the borrow area excavation at the Kearny County Landfill (Site). Bids received after the bid date and time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. The Scope of Work for borrow area excavation includes, but is not limited to, providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals, and services necessary and required to excavate soil (approximately 28,400 cubic yards, 2.5 acres, 7 feet deep) from borrow area, stockpile soil on site, and implement necessary stormwater pollution prevention control measures. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions of any or all bids and to waive informalities therein to determine the best Bid. The Bidder may not withdraw its Bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days following the Bid Date. Bids may be held by Kearny County for up to ninety (90) calendar days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding of the contract. Bidder must be properly licensed to perform the work pursuant to all applicable state and local law. An award to contract will not be made to a Bidder who is not licensed.
