The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Parking Lot Repair Services. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) El Cajon Area office, the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide Parking Lot Repair Services as set forth in this Agreement. A. License Requirement: California Contractor's State License Board (CSLB) C-12, Earthwork and Paving Contractor. B. Contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance in accordance with the Insurance Requirements found in this Agreement (Exhibit E). C. Contractor shall provide a Payment Bond equal to 100 percent of the value of the Agreement. Contractor shall complete State of California Standard 807, in duplicate, and submit prior to execution of Agreement. 2. The services shall be performed at: Department of California Highway Patrol El Cajon Area office 1722 E. Main Street El Cajon, CA 92021 3. The services shall be provided during: Work shall be performed on weekends, evenings and/or holiday weekends. Office is open for business on weekdays, Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00, unless other arrangements are approved by the CHP on-site contact. California Law Requires Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation. All bidders for this solicitation, must meet the minimum DVBE participation requirement of 5%. Bidders are eligible to receive a DVBE incentive for their participation. For more information regarding this option, see section M of the IFB entitled Preference and Incentive Programs. Following the question submission deadline, the CHP will post a summary response of the questions and answers to be viewed electronically. Bidders that arrive after the walk-through has started will not be allowed to sign-in. No bid will be considered from a Contractor that did not sign-in at the mandatory walk-through.
